This week was a busy one!
First of all congratulations to grade 3/4 students for an excellent performance in the Remembrance Day Assembly. Our classes set the appropriate tone and were an attentive audience. Well Done!
We completed the good copy of our Olympic letters to Mayor Nenshi after using a letter template to organize our thoughts. Students thought of three reasons for or against hosting the Olympics, as well as counter arguments to their position. The vote for Calgarians takes place on Tuesday November 13th!
In Science we began comparing different rock samples. We looked at similarities and differences and learned about Mohs scale of hardness.
