Alien In-Line continues tomorrow at recess. Thanks to those students demonstrating resiliency while learning how to stand on in-line skates and attempting the drills to the best of their abilities.

We began Alien In-Line skating today. Please remember that socks must be worn in order to skate. If you choose to wear flip-flops or sandals to school, pack a pair of socks in your backpack.
Please bring your own helmet to school this week.

Alien Inline lessons May 29, 30, 31 June 1 & 2
-lessons take place in the gym during Physical Education classes for grades 1-6
Students need the following in order to skate:
-return Acknowledgement of Risk Form
-bring your own helmet (you can borrow a helmet from Alien Inline – but we do NOT recommend sharing helmets or hats)
-MUST wear dry socks or you will not be permitted to skate
Alberta Education is looking for feedback and suggestions from parents in regards to the upcoming provincial curriculum development process. A newsletter came home with all students this afternoon. Please visit the supplied links.

Message from School Council Executive:
A reminder that the Casino form is due back by May 19th. We are still in need of at least 20 volunteers on the evening shifts. This is THE major fundraiser for our school and happens once every 18 months and brings in nearly $70 thousand dollars for our school. We need your help!!! Volunteer Clearance is not required anyone can volunteer!! Parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends as long as they are over 18. Please help our school!! Tomorrow we are recognizing Hats On For Mental Health. All students are encouraged to wear a hat to school tomorrow.
