Musical Ride

Special Opportunity June 4:

Today our neighbour school, Corpus Christi, celebrated their 60^th Anniversary. They had a Musical Ride from Lord Strathcona’s Horse Ceremonial Mounted Troop Cavalry Ride. 

We were invited to watch. Our class gathered on Thorncliffe School’s front grassy area and viewed the horses and riders perform.  What a wonderful to learn more about this unique and vital link to Alberta's history!

New Canadian Food Guide

This week we will be discussing and sharing our favourite healthy foods (as well as our favourites that aren't so healthy). Students are completing a "plate" of food they enjoy. Pictures to follow!

Help create a mosaic for Thorncliffe Greenview with artist Sarah Johnston
She will be creating a tiled design out of various geometric patterns and needs your help to paint the designs onto the road. There will also be opportunities for those wanting to create a pattern of their own.
