Musical Ride
Special Opportunity June 4:
Today our neighbour school, Corpus Christi, celebrated their 60th Anniversary. They had a Musical Ride from Lord Strathcona’s Horse Ceremonial Mounted Troop Cavalry Ride.
We were invited to watch. Our class gathered on Thorncliffe School’s front grassy area and viewed the horses and riders perform. What a wonderful to learn more about this unique and vital link to Alberta's history!

New Canadian Food Guide
We are looking at healthy food choices this week in Health class. Here is a link to the new Canada food guide- https://food-guide.canada.ca/en/?utm_source=canada-ca-foodguide-en&utm_medium=vurl&utm_campaign=foodguide
This week we will be discussing and sharing our favourite healthy foods (as well as our favourites that aren't so healthy). Students are completing a "plate" of food they enjoy. Pictures to follow!
